There's really no way this weekend could have been any more perfect...OK, maybe if we didn't have finals, but that's not really an option. It started Friday night with our Farewell Dinner with everyone in the program, our professors and SU Center staff. Knowing it would be an emotional night we stocked up on the wine and champagne pre-dinner...although I was banking on SU covering an open bar at the restaurant. Hey, one can dream, right?
We had plentyyyyy of photo ops with Kjelly and Marxer, and yes, even our favorite Baby Journalist. I don't think I've ever cried more with a group of people that I did last night. It was just beautiful. I think Lex said it best in her speech, which went something like this.
"Don't cry and be upset, because it's over. Think about all of our friends at home who will never get this opportunity. Think of everyone who won't know about Pierre, 05843, Francesca's, Club Schmuzie, Hans-y, Dordogne and Homme de Fer."
We all spent Saturday afternoon in our 3-hour long Policy Final. Rude Kjelly, rude! Had dinner out in the country with Nou Nou and Lutece. Saturday night was one final outing with all 50 people in the program. Simply glorious.
Spent Sunday like we spend most Sundays here...at Cafe Brant in the sun.
This will probably be my last entry for a while because I'm not really sure what else to say. In a sense, I feel frustrated because I can't even put into words how amazing these past 4 months have been. But I've decided that it's OK. I've got my photos, my memories and my friends and that's all I can ask for.
50 friends. 8 countries. 24 cities. 4 incredible months. Strasbourg, you've got my only heart.

See, now you know why I couldn't finish my blog with any type of finality.
